THE new EU Referendum Campaign, fronted by Tory Euro-MP Daniel Hannan, is likely to prove a formidable force. With the coalition promising a new way of doing politics that gives power to the people the case for a plebiscite on EU membership is overwhelming.
Not for 35 years have the British people been allowed a say on this massive and ever-expanding part of our political system. It is time the question was put again. Only those who don’t trust the people could possibly object.
