** - Nikki SINCLAIRE GETS A LETTER IN THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH re THE PETITION - 31-Oct-2010
SIR –

The British people have never had a say on the nature of our current relationship with the EU. We are promised that a petition of 100,000 would trigger a Commons debate on EU membership.

I have been overwhelmed by the support for my petition calling for a debate on Britain’s continued membership and look forward to delivering it to Downing Street shortly.
Despite being a committed Eurosceptic, I will accept and abide by whatever decision the people make – the challenge I am laying down is for the pro-EU lobby to make that same commitment.

European Union Referendum Campaign

Probably the only politician actively campaigning among the populace at large on the European Union is Nikki Sinclaire MEP. I spoke to Nikki last night and got the distinct impression that she really phoned to gloat about being at Anfield yesterday to witness a rare Liverpool win. But, as FC United beat Barrow to reach the FA Cup 1st Round for the first time I didn't mind. There's a diabolical photo of her on her blog, taken yesterday at the game.

You may remember that Nikki was thown out of UKIP earlier this year for refusing to sit in the group of homophobes, racists and anti-Semites that form the EFD Group that UKIP MEPs are part of in Brussels. Another MEP I have a lot of respect for, Mike Nattrass, has also now left the group. As I have worked as campaign manager for both in UK parliamentary elections in the past, I am relieved that they have both shown such decency and principle by leaving the EFD Group.

Now sitting as an independent MEP Nikki is campaigning for a referendum on whether or not we should remain within the  EU. Mike Nattrass is supporting her campaign as is Tim Congdon, one of UKIP's leadership candidates. As an indepndent she has cross party support and I would urge you to visit her campaign website Campaign for a Referendum.

As well as cross party support the campaign is attracting some support from those wishing to remain in the EU. After all, before the election in May the Lib Dems were in favour of an in/out referendum. One way or the other a straight in/out referendum would finally put the question of Europe to rest.

Campaign for a Referendum in Royal Leamington Spa

Today Nikki Sinclaire's mobile Constituency Surgery was in Leamington Spa.
This gives Sinclaire the opportunity to acquit her Constituency work whilst volunteers campaign for the Petition for a Referendum and she can help out between appointments with her constituents.
It was another successful day with many people signing the petition.
Once again it was very enjoyable interacting with my electorate sometimes in rigorous debate. I find that many europhiles also feel we should have a referendum.
The important thing is that The British peoples are allowed to have their basic human right as even agreed by The UN in claiming SELF DETERMINATION is a Human Right.
Check out The EVENTS Tab above and you can turn up and meet the crew and help The Petition when it is in your area.

Campaign for a Referendum

While Nikki Sinclaire was on her RAF course her team were busy in Telford with THE PETITION battle bus.

THE PETITION TEAM have reported back that it was another extremely good day with people queueing up to sign the petition.
Not only is the team on the road several days a week with all the publicity that offers as the Battle Bus travels around its destinations but to promote THE PETITION Sinclaire is conducting all her Constituency meetings with the battle bus which is set up as an office inside.

I have tried to get a schedule of where you can get to visit or see the battle bus in action but a bit like getting a schedule from James and Bridget - everyone is running around and forward plans prove difficult to obtain. ALWAYS check the >EVENTS< tab at the top of the page - with luck I can get the info. from you as all groups are co-operating in this totally cross party Patriotic venture.

Whilst this activity continues out and about the postal operation continues with requests for more Petition forms flooding in from around Britain and completed sheets arriving daily and being collated in the offices.

To launch THE PETITION from the start with registration and design, campaign timings and plans - all drawn up since Easter the whole operation has been personally funded by Nikki Sinclaire from her own salary and legitimate use of allowances - the EU bans MEPs using expenses for political gain so ensuring with The EU that she has stayed within the rules has been time consuming.

Reading between the lines we understand it was this attention to detail that led OLAF to accept her application for assistance when she was attacked in The Sunday Times by a collection of very unconvincing 'allegedlies', much to UKIP's shame!

Clearly it is time for all of us to put our shoulder to THE PETITION WHEEL this Patriotic, cross party initiative should not be left to rest on the shoulders of just one Duty Bound individual of principle - we all have our pat to play.

If you can afford to make a donation to help take the initiative forward PLEASE read the inside back cover of the Campaign for A Referendum magazine or the last but one page in the .pdf which can be read by a Click on the Pic. on the right sidebar.

Perhaps YOU can afford to repay YOUR Country by contributing just £5,000 to match Sinclaire's 50,000 magazines - lets have enough donations to get a magazine to every voter! At the moment between 20 & 30,000 magazines are going out in the post to get this Patriotic message to the peoples of Britain - without YOUR help progress will stall!

Please note on your donation if you wish to contribute anonymously or if she can list your name as a backer in future publications

IF you can not afford to donate then PLEASE contribute some time - Download a copy of THE PETITION form on the back/last page of the magazine and makes as many copies as YOU can afford and get your friends and neighbours to help you to complete as many sheets of signatures as possible & mail them in to the office.

Something for everybody who believes in Britain to do.

This has been a busy week already with The RAF course for Squadron Leader Simnclaire MEP whilst her office finalised the mail out of the magazine and started distributing batches of the remaining 20,000 + getting to Brussels for an important Constituency meeting with The CBI and then back for a small business meeting the next morning - WELL DONE SINCLAIRE

this is what UKIP members and voters elected you to do - not sound bite gesture politics, squabbling and carousing in expensive restaurants and stuffing your bank account as so many MEPs do.

Let us hope there is a great deal of financial support and the energy levels can be maintained by all.

I have been asked to thank the FEW who have made donations already. There is enough to consider publishing another 50,000 magazines with the contributions to date.

THANK YOU.

Birmingham Diary: Tory fringe despair at antics of Coalition Cameroons

By Andy McSmith
Tuesday, 5 October 2010
What's she doing here?

On the street outside the conference is parked the mobile surgery of Nikki Sinclaire, MEP for the West Midlands. She was elected to the European Parliament for the UK Independence Party last year, ran for the party leadership, lost, fell out with her colleagues, got expelled, and now styles herself an independent. She was collecting signatures for a petition to get out of the EU, and getting a reasonable response.

At the Conservative Conference

My battle bus rolled into Birmingham today for the final conference of the political season. The Conservatives have chosen Birmingham once again for their conference bringing gridlock to parts of the city on a daily basis. City centre conferences seem to be vogue at the moment much to the detriment of seaside resorts like Brighton, Blackpool, Bournemouth etc it used to be a nice little earner at the end of the season for these resorts but the established political parties rather disrupt the countries major cities.

The Campaign for a Referendum (CfaR) was received warmly by delegates, many signatures were collected and hundreds of petition packs handed out.  Coincidently, the Bruges Group and CfaR had rooms at the Midlands Institute which allowed respective interested parties to find out more about each other.

Outside the Conference I had the pleasure to meet Lizzie Williams, a protester against the High Speed Link (HS2) that is cutting though the Green Belt. Lizzie had just finished her walk though the proposed route. I signed her petition and promised her my support.

Nikki Sinclair to talk at English Democrats conference

Nikki Sinclair MEP is speaking at the English Democrats party conference in Nottingham this week prompting some members to speculate that she might be about to jump ship to the SS Steve Uncles.

As Nikki doesn't support devolution it's unlikely that she'd support the English Democrats anyway but I don't imagine that her appearance at their conference is anything other a leg of her tour of party conferences speaking at fringes.  She was at the UKIP conference a couple of weeks ago and she said she was going to visit every party conference this year (I don't think she made it to either the Green or Lib Dem conference though).

It'll be interesting to see how Nikki is received by some of the more ... interesting characters in the English Democrats.

Nikki was very well received, we all enjoyed her speech. There was so many questions from the floor we had to stop them due to running over time.

Hi,

I believe Sinclaire was in Strasburgh on a prior commitment during the LibDim conference but I do know she personally paid for staff and the bus to be at their conference.

Perhaps you would care to lend support to an actual initiative to get a Referendum in Britain and raise the possibility of leaving the EU.

See:
http://The Midnight Hour.blogspot.com and see how Patriots can set their childish egos aside and work together for Britain - already Nikki Sinclaire, Roger Helmer, Tim Congdon, Trevor Coleman, Dan Hannan, Mike Nattrass, James Pryor, Paul Nuttall, Bridget Rowe, Douglas Carswell, The BOO Group, TFA, LESC, Global Britain, Ian Milne, Tillbrook & The EDP and many many more are co-operating as individuals and separate organisations putting their shoulder to the one wheel for Britain in co-operation.

Set aside your hang ups, bury your prejudices and put Britain first for a change.

regards,
Greg_L-W.

For the record the EDP's Tillbrook invited James Pryor and Bridget Rowe on the Saturday when their key note speaker was Jon Gaunt and Sinclaire was invited and brought Nattrass to a breakfast meeting with their NEC and as key note speaker for the Sunday.

Neither Mike nor Nikki were unaware of the ovatures but I gather from my EDP sources that Sinclaire stated she would be joining no one for at least a year and had every hope that responsible behaviour might emerge after UKIP's upcoming coronation. In the mean time she is taking The Petition Campaign for an EU Referendum to as much of Britain as she can herself and using staff and supporters for the rest.

I gather from the events section the Battle Van will be in Worcester today and will be at the Tory Conference next week.

Anyone nay EVERYONE is welcome to put their Patriotic shoulder to this Cross Party wheel.

G.L-W.

** THE PETITION Campaign for an EU Referendum @ The Labour Conference.

** THE PETITION Campaign for an EU Referendum @ The Labour Conference.

Hi,

since it was Nikki Sinclaire giving it large at The Labour Party Conference let's let her tell us in her own words about her initiative to promote The Petition Campaign for an EU Referendum which works closely and is complimented by The EU Referendum Campaign.

Working together there is every possibility that we can reach our goal of a Debate in Parliament leading to the fundamental Human Right, as defined in The Foundation Charter of The UN which states:

Self Determination is a Fundamental Human Right.

Isn't it in the cl;aimed belief that the peoples of Afghanistan and Iraq were entitled to The Fundamental Human Right of Self Determination that Britain and America told so very many lies to slaughter so many of them - Yet the Politicians at Westminster have denied us that fundamental Human Right.

At the Labour Party Conference

Taking the Campaign for a Referendum to the opposition in Manchester

With Tony Benn who was supportive of my initiative

With Ben Bradshaw MP I was trying to convert the inconvertable!

New Labour leader, Ed Milliband told his conference that politics is broken. What he didn't do like he did with Iraq, is to acknowledge and apologise for  the Labours complicity in breaking the democratic link between the people and the people who govern them.

Politics has been broken since we joined the Common Market in 1972 without the consent of the British people.  Subsequent governments, including Labour have transferred sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels. If he wants to fix politics he should begin by supporting my Campaign for a Referendum.

As you can see from the above photos I was in Manchester today and spoke at a fringe meeting at Central Hall promoting the petition. I have engaged in interesting conversations with Labour delegates including the veteran, principled campaigners Tony Benn and Dennis Skinner. Tony Benn showed support for my initiative and I hope he will give me his endorsement.

I also spoke with many europhiles including Ben Bradshaw who have no intention of giving the British people a say on their future - and they call themselves democrats!

** WORCESTER NEWS reports for 01-Sep-2010 THE PETITION Battle Bus in Town!

Residents can have their say when Battle bus arrives
Sunday 26th September 2010

WEST Midlands’ MEP, Nikki Sinclaire, is bringing her ‘Have Your Say’ Battle Bus to Worcester on Friday, October 1.

Her aim is to get 100,000 signatures for her petition to demand a referendum which would give British people the chance to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to being part of the European Union. She plans to visit 50 locations across the West Midlands by the end of February 2011 to rally support.

Anyone under the age of 53 has never had the chance to vote on this issue, which Nikki believes is wrong. The last time the UK held a referendum on the Common Market, at it was then known, was in 1975.

Despite the fact that, if successful, the campaign outcome could put her out of a job, Nikki thinks people should decide whether it is right that: The UK contributes £45 million a day to the EU – that’s £16,425,000,000 each year 75% of our UK laws are decided by the EU yet the UK has only 72 of the 736 MEPs in the EU Parliament Each day we buy £5 million more from EU countries then they buy from us Nikki Sinclaire and her Battle Bus will be at Tesco’s in St Peter’s Drive, Worcester from 10am to 3pm on Friday, October 1. As well as encouraging people to sign the petition, she’ll also be on hand to listen to people’s concerns, answer their questions and encourage them to take back control of their own country.

Nikki said: “I was elected to say NO to the EU and now I am giving the electorate a chance to have their say. This argument has gone on far too long - for the sake of our country, we need this issue settled once and for all”.

*+** Hazel Leads The Day at THE PETITION

*+** Hazel Leads The Day at THE PETITION

Hi,

The Petition Campaign for an EU Referendum is proving hugely successful and providing The Peoples' Petition to support and assist the EU Referendum Campaign which is acting in a complimentary capacity - though we do expect efforts from the dog in the manger brigade who are not true Patriots but will try to drive a wedge between the various genuine campaigns for their personal gain.

You will find it easy to spot the true patriots as they will be only too happy to put their shoulder to any wheell of co-operation for these United Kingdoms leaving their childish rivalries and self interest politically behind them.

Already these two Campaigns are running well together - though from time to time the odd ego will slip out of the box and make a fool of itself of that you can be sure when you have INDEPENDENT campaigners from any and no political Party and every wing and walk of life in our society.

Nikki Sinclaire MEP as the driving force that launched The Peoples' Petition for an EU Referendum is now ably assisted by her team and Mike Nattrass MEP who is also doing sterling work. Whilst Paul Nuttall MEP is doing all he can to promote the success of the Alliance by lending his weight to James Pryor and his team at the EU Referendum campaign.

I gather The Petition for an EU Referendum has now topped 20,000 signatures and is 1/5th. of the way to its initial target of 100,000 signatures - which are flooding in from all corners of these United Kingdoms together with donations from The People backing The Petition and its aims.

The funding is really important as the aim is to use every penny7 piece donated to advance The Petition itself - already there are well advanced plans for a magasine to promote The Petition and the co-operation with the EU Referendum campaign and James Pryor's group with their direct action campaign to make Politicians and business ever more aware and more responsive.

Today Nikki Sinclaire MEP, in the belief that Britain before Brussels is important did not go to waste time in The EU Parliament enjoying the luxury and benefits of her expense account but did some worthwhile work and drove to North wales to be with an incredible lady and to thank Hazel for her achievements so far.

Let us let Nikki Sinclaire tell it in her own words:

A true inspiration

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Hazel from North Wales who has collected over 500 signatures for the 100,000 petition ‘Campaign for a Referendum’ on the UK’s membership of the EU. Hazel has never been a member of a political party and only found out about the campaign when a friend showed her the leaflet. She felt so strongly about the cause, she immediately went out and completed the first form and then contacted my office for more forms.
Hazel recently lost her husband who she cites as her inspiration. Shortly before his death she found him crying, she asked him why. He replied that he was upset about his country and the mess the politicians have made of it. Hazel told me this campaign was way overdue and the British people deserved a say on how they were governed. She goes out two/three times a day and has vowed to continue.
My mum, despite a recent hip operation and a problematic recovery has collected over 300 signatures. We get many calls to the office and receive lots of completed forms on a daily basis. I am overwhelmed at the level of support and the dedication of these people who truly are a inspiration to our cause.
END OF QUOTE
The really pleasing part of this whole effort is:
Firstly just how well received it is 'on the doorstep'.
Secondly how rapidly & willingly the two campaigns are working together.
Thirdly the fact that The Petition is getting completed sheets of signatures from all over Britain - many downloaded from this site and their own.
Fourthly just how widespread the response is, as it was initially feared it would take a while to spread beyond The West Midlands where it was launched.
ANY HELP any contribution and any support for the two campaigns is very welcome - this is a totally cross Part initiative and is NOT about childish egos it is about two organisations acting together in their own particular ways out of Patriotism and a belief in the Democratic Rights of The British Peoples.
Handing Self Determination to The British People.

PO Box 15262
Solihull
B90 9FY
Nikki Sinclaire's office will be able to put you in touch and tell you all you need to know as to how YOU can help.

Call on Monday for details or at least by Tuesday lunch time.

Nikki Sinclaire will be dashing around as she has to try to get to North Wales to say a very personal thank YOU to a lady there who has already filled in 50 Petition sheets with 10 names, addresses and post codes per page
500 People Signed by ONE Lady!

Then as she has said on her blog her sinuses have been playing up with an infection but although the anti biotics are working for the infection they seem not to much help with her eye strain.

This is why her blogging and letter writing have fallen away as use of the computer screen has been causing horrendous head aches, So I gather from my contacts that she is trying to fit in a visit to an optician - just the right age for glasses to maybe provide the solution.

Good luck - eyes are NOT to be ignored so let us hope it is JUST the infection not full scale decrepitude as with my eyesight!

So any help YOU can give will be welcome.

Nikki SINCLAIRE & Mike NATTRASS, James Pryor & Bridget Rowe @ EDP MEETING for The PETITION!

& A STRANGE STORY OF BETRAYAL of UKIP by THEIR LEADERSHIP!!

Hi,

The Keynote Guests at The English Democrats' AGM were on The Saturday John Gaunt of radio celeb status, an avowed and OUT EUrosceptic and James Pryor and Bridget Rowe were there to meet and greet old friends and new in promoting their EU Referendum Campaign - complimentary, as you can see if you CLICK HERE to the Key Note speakers on The Sunday who were Nikki Sinclaire & Mike Nattrass promoting THE Petition Campaign for A Referendum.

Here is Sinclaire's blog entry just now:

Speaking at the English Democrats

I along with fellow West Midlands MEP, Mike Nattrass was pleased to have the opportunity to speak at the English Democrat AGM in Nottingham today having had a very successful business breakfast meeting with their leadership team.
We spoke individually and then took questions about the European Union, being an MEP, and the Campaign for a Referendum. It was an enjoyable and interesting experience exchanging views and developing an understanding of each other’s perspective.
It is these cross party initiative that are so important if we are going to win the day.

I look forward to further dialogue.
Ps.  I was quite surprised to learn during our breakfast meeting the overtures made by Malcolm Pearson towards an electoral pact during the general election.
Pearson supported by Steve Crowther and Peter Reeeve met with the English Democrat leadership, with the blessing of Nigel Farage
Constituencies where UKIP would not stand were agreed however, as with so much else Pearson undertakes, he reneged on this undertaking costing UKIP considerable support in the areas that they had agreed.

** Nikki SINCLAIRE BOUGHT A NEW VEHICLE for HER CROSS PARTY PETITION

Nikki SINCLAIRE MEP BOUGHT A NEW VEHICLE for HER CROSS PARTY PETITION - We Understand Paul Nuttall UKIP MEP spent some £30-40,000 on his personal delux Range Rover with its tinted windows and personalised number plate and Graham Booth UKIP MEP (rtd.) bought an Aston Martin!

I would guess Ms. Sinclaire spent a tad under £10K on hers and a further £2K refurbing it to make it fit for purpose - unlike the other UKIP MEPs who are neither fit for purpose nor worth refurbing nor trustworth!

One of the West Midlands' six MEPs was in Stoke-on-Trent to collect signatures for a petition calling for a referendum on the UK's membership of the EU.

Former UKIP member Nikki Sinclaire was elected in the 2008, but subsequently left the party.
She lost the whip after refusing to sit alongside UKIP's allies the EDF (Europe of Freedom and Democracy) group.
Ms Sinclaire has described members of the EDF as holding "a variety of extremist views".

Despite no longer having the support of her party the Euro MP said she was "determined to continue representing the people of the West Midlands".

In the meantime her brightly decorated campaign van will be travelling the six counties of the region in an effort to generate publicity for her petition.

As an aside - The Petition Campaign is strictly Cross Party and although our means and numbers are low Nikki Sinclaire has accepted the support of our small but 'embracing' Party/Alliance.

Really all we have to offer of consequence is some time, some endorsement but most of all the status of The Petition as a Cross Party entity which may make it easier for others to join.

We wish the petition every good fortune at
 INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance
We shall within a day or so add The Petition logo and a direct link to the site to SIGN The Petition on EVERY main page on our web site and I hope also on our Forum (IF I can work out how to do it as 'me TechNoCrass!)

Our unreserved congratulations as devbotees of leaving the EU to Nikki Sinclaire for her initiative which we endorse wholeheartedly. It will be remembered that the main thrust of support in fact the foundation of
 INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance
was based upon UKIP supporters disgusted with the dishonesty and corruption of UKIP under its present leadership team.

You will no doubt have noted already there is a direct link to sign up to The Petition in the right sidebar on various blogs - JUST take a moment to make a Patriotic action setting party, views, petty jealousies aside - never forget 60,000 people fell at the Somme in a day in defence of these United Kingdoms few knew who their politicians were and amongst them were Jews, Homosexuals, Christians, Muslims, Aetheists, Wikka, Catholics and those of no belief or superstition - they set aside their petty squabbles for the sake of these United Kingdoms - please be man enough to do the same, in their memory.
