GAUNTY SAYS...

Spineless David Cameron may as well hoist the white flag over Downing Street.
In the last week he has surrendered over the EU budget rise and handed over at least another £450 million to Brussels despite the fact that 75 percent of Brits wanted a referendum.
He then has the temerity to brag that his actions were a tremendous success. This ludicrous boast is on a par with Saddam’s PR man, Comical Ali, who declared on live TV that Baghdad would not fall as American tanks were rolling down the streets behind him.
Not content with cutting15 thousand jobs in the armed services he now enters into deal with the French that paves the way for a Euro army.
Then he caves into The European court of human rights and says that there is nothing he can do about giving muggers, rapists and paedophiles the vote.
Of course there is something he could do.
He could listen to the British public, which in a ComRes poll last week stated by a massive 75 percent that they wanted a referendum on our continued membership of the EU.
By giving us that referendum we could leave this club but of course this wont happen because Cameron has now shown his true colours which by the way are not white but blue with gold stars.
Yesterday in Parliament in a direct response to a direct question from Labour MP Kate Hoey who asked “is there any chance of a referendum in the next five years on whether we stay in or go out?”
Comical Dave replied, “ I do not believe in an in-out referendum for many reasons. I think we are better off in the European Union.”
And only a few days ago he described him self as a Eurosceptic!
I could describe him as many things the most polite of which is a lying, conniving double dealing conman who has surrendered our great nations independence to an organisation that the majority of people do not want to be a part of and which three quarters of the population are at least demanding a straight forward in or out vote.
Come on Dave give us a vote, what are you scared of?
Sign The Pledge, demanding an EU referendum now!

Dutch parties call for another Euro-referendum - Dan HANNAN MEP - Telegraph - 03-Nov-2010

Dutch parties call for another Euro-referendum - Dan HANNAN MEP - Telegraph - 03-Nov-2010

Consult the people? They might have all sorts of ideas!
Dutch parties call for another Euro-referendum

Consult the people? Whatever next?

So inured are we to the absence of democracy in the EU, so habituated to our powerlessness, that we barely reacted when European leaders explicitly announced that their objective, in amending the treaties as Angela Merkel wants, was to avoid a referendum. Everyone understands that ballots on the EU tend to produce “No” votes. Eurocrats barely bother to pretend any more that they enjoy popular support.

So you can imagine the agitation in Brussels at the prospect of a second Euro-referendum in the Netherlands – a proposal now supported by the Freedom Party (PVV) as well as the Socialist Party (hat-tip, EU Observer). Dutch voters want a say on the massive liabilities being imposed on them by the euro crisis. Having been net beneficiaries of EU spending until the mid-1990s, they are now, in per capita terms, among the main contributors.

Most Dutch leaders regard the prospect of consulting the electorate with horror. Like their counterparts elsewhere in the EU, they tend to see themselves as qualified to rule by their expertise rather than by the ballot box. The Anglo-Dutch writer Ian Buruma calls the Dutch elites the “regenten”, after the fastidious oligarchs who controlled the republic until the late eighteenth century.

Eurocrats, too, are determined to avoid another Dutch plebiscite. They remember that the level-headed Hollanders rejected the European Constitution by a whopping 62 per cent. (Needless to say, Brussels disregarded that vote and went ahead anyway on the basis of what I call the EU’s Brechtian imperative: “Wouldn’t it be easier to dissolve the people and elect another in their place?”) If the Dutch were allowed a vote, several of their neighbours might become restive. British voters might ask why the Netherlands should be allowed to vote on Britain’s future.

Sooner or later, there will have to be an EU plebiscite in this country. I hope that our political leaders will anticipate the demand: they would be handsomely rewarded. Incidentally, several of my readers keep asking me how many people have signed The Pledge, which demands such a vote. Over 30,000 so far.

BRITISH PEOPLE MUST HAVE A VOTE OVER EURO POWER SHIFT

DAVID Cameron claims he won a great victory over the EU but at what price?
Story ImageBy resisting the proposed 5.9 per cent budget increase he believes he’s asserted our right to say no to Brussels but the Council of Ministers meeting that backed his demand also agreed to sweeping changes in the way the EU will operate in future.

Germany’s Angela Merkel has won backing for what is, in effect, a new “economic government” of the EU, so Brussels can prevent member states from borrowing and spending too much. Mr Cameron will argue that this is fine, as it will affect only countries in the eurozone and that Britain is therefore exempt but we are not. The new economic government will claim the right to examine all member state budgets to ensure their proposals are “competitive enough”, regardless of whether they use the euro. This marks a major transfer of power to Brussels, with George Osborne having to win approval from Europe for the way we decide to spend our money.

The ministers who back Ms Merkel’s plan know that the Lisbon Treaty (effectively the EU constitution) should be amended to incorporate these new powers and that the altered treaty should be voted on by member states but they don’t want that. So they have instructed pliable EU President Herman Van Rompuy to make a minimal change to the treaty so voters will believe there has been no real modification. It’s dishonest. If they get away with it, a tiny change of wording will herald a major switch and Parliamentary powers will be signed away.

When the treaty was first raised and Gordon Brown reneged on Labour’s promise of a referendum on the issue Mr Cameron and William Hague vowed there would be no further shift of power to Europe without a national vote. Now is the time to honour that promise. In exchange for getting a couple of per cent off our annual EU membership bill, Mr Cameron has signed  away more sovereignty.

The people of Britain have fought hard for the right to determine their own affairs in their own Parliament. To deny us a vote to decide how we should protect our rights is yet another betrayal.

DAVID CAMERON U-TURN DENIES BRITAIN EU REFERENDUM

Story Image
David Cameron has now backed plans to sneak changes into the Lisbon Treaty

Leigh Phillips

BRITONS have been robbed of the chance to vote on a power grab by Brussels despite promises of a referendum.
In the wake of the Lisbon Treaty fiasco, David Cameron vowed Britain would never again give away powers to Brussels without first holding a referendum.
In a spectacular U-turn, however, Mr Cameron has now backed plans to sneak changes into the Lisbon Treaty without triggering referendums across Europe.
It is a significant victory for German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who was last night dining with the Camerons at Chequers, the Prime Minister’s country retreat in Buckinghamshire.
At the Council of Ministers, Europe’s prime ministers and presidents backed “a limited treaty change” to deliver tighter fiscal discipline across the EU and a permanent bail-out fund for members of the eurozone. The change will create an “economic government” for Europe.

Nigel Farage, frontrunner to lead the UK Independence Party, said: “It is one of the most massive power grabs they have ever attempted but because it is so devilishly complicated this might just sneak through by default. But make no mistake, these are draconian powers and without a shadow of a doubt this should trigger a referendum.”
Leaders are petrified that any change to the EU treaties would spark referendums in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.
In Britain the EU Referendum Campaign has been launched calling on the Government to give the country the vote denied when Gordon Brown ratified the Lisbon Treaty. More than 5,000 Sunday Express readers signed up after we highlighted the campaign last week.
The Referendum Lock Bill, due to be introduced in Parliament next month, was drawn up as the Conservative’s “Plan B” after Mr Cameron dropped the “cast iron pledge” to hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty following ratification.
Mr Cameron argues there will be no transfer of powers from Westminster to Brussels. He argues: “The key to a referendum is this question: Are we transferring powers. If yes, a referendum. If not, no referendum.”

The Daily Sport Comes Out In Support of an EU Referendum - 19-Oct-2010

The Daily Sport Comes Out In Support of an EU Referendum - 19-Oct-2010
EU Must Give Us A Vote

THREE quarters of people in the UK want a vote on whether we should quit the cash-gobbling European Union.

According to results published by the EU Referendum Campaign, 75% of the British public want a say on us staying in the emerging superstate.
And 73% reckon our contribution of £48million a day to the Brussels coffers is not good value for money.

Britain’s unease with our membership of the European club will be increased by news yesterday that Prime Minister David Cameron is set to cave in and allow the EU to squeeze more money from UK taxpayers.

With domestic services facing cuts outlined in last week’s spending review, Cameron had promised to block the 5.9% increase in the EU’s budget for next year.

But yesterday government sources conceded that the Brussels cash grab would go ahead and the already-bloated £107billion EU budget would swell by £3.15 billion.

That means Brit taxpayers will be asked to shell out an extra £435m a year, on top of the £8.3bn we already pay for membership of the EU.

Brussels’ latest spending spree is another reason why the British voters should have a say on our membership of the European Union, according to the EU Referendum Campaign.

Official spokesman, Jon Gaunt, said that a vote on Britain’s membership of the EU is long overdue and that the Union is a club not worth joining.

The TV and radio personality said: “Most working people join a club for cheap beer or some other benefit. What benefit do we get from the EU?

“For every £2.60 that every man and woman pays into the EU, they get a pound back.

“Who would join a club where you pay £3.80 for a £2.60 pint of beer? There’s not a working person in Britain who’d join a club like that!”

He added: “If people thought that the MPs’ expenses scandal was bad, it’s even worse in Brussels.

“Politicians support Brussels because it is a place they can go to when their pitiful careers at Westminster are over — just look at the Kinnocks!

“It is ordinary readers of the Daily Sport, coppers, plasterers and brickies who will pay for the mess that the bankers and the MPs have got us in to.

“Ordinary working class blokes and women are ultimately paying with their jobs.

“We know that David Cameron has been shocked by the reaction to the poll already. If something like 60% had called for a vote, then those in the Westminster Village could have ignored it.

“But 75% is just an overwhelming figure.

“If we get a million people to sign our petition then the demand for a vote cannot be ignored.

“Let’s have a vote. What are they scared of?”

James Pryor, chief executive of the EU Referendum Campaign said: “This sends a clear message to the Prime Minister, David Cameron, that the British public demand to have a say on our relationship with the EU before any budget increase can be approved.

“The £48m a day we send to the EU could be used to save British jobs, invest in our defence force and give all our young people equal access to higher education.

“We are not only facing a financial deficit — we are facing a democratic deficit.”

*** EXPRESS BACKS A REFERENDUM 24-Oct-2010 - 'AN EU REFERENDUM MUST BE HELD'

*** EXPRESS BACKS A REFERENDUM 24-Oct-2010 - 'AN EU REFERENDUM MUST BE HELD'

AN EU REFERENDUM MUST BE HELD

Story Image
Sunday October 24-2010
So why such a voracious appetite for our cash? Close reading of the 500-page EU budget proposals reveals a catalogue of waste. While Whitehall cuts Brussels wants a 4.4 per cent rise in administration finance. MEPs want to increase their budget for entertaining by 85 per cent and to hand a €620,000 subsidy to the firm that arranges their travel and holidays. While we are cutting quangos useless entities such as the European Institute for Gender Equality flourish on a €52 million annual budget. They even want to pour an extra €26million into space research bringing the total investment in outer space to €230 million next year.

The list of fanciful and excessive expenditure runs on and on representing an intolerable bill for any country in recession. Britain is pouring £48million a day into Brussels but what are we getting back? The EU is a subject none of our mainstream politicians want to talk about. The Conservatives say the public has no appetite to re-open the EU question but they are wrong. Times have changed and so have attitudes towards Brussels’ money-grabbing, power-seeking bureaucrats. Both the coalition and Labour before them denied us a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty but the policy of turning a blind eye cannot go on.

This week David Cameron is to attend the European Council Meeting, a perfect opportunity to act. Instead of meekly agreeing to Brussels’ latest demands he can say no. Now is the time to think of British taxpayers who have already been asked to make tremendous sacrifices, not fat-cat Eurocrats wanting our money.

Before the election Mr Cameron talked tough on Europe warning that the “walls of Jericho” would fall as voters called time on the culture of excess and waste. Now he can prove he is as good as his word.

Apologists for this gravy train say a British bid to block the budget will fail without the support of France and Germany but they miss the point. Britain could freeze its contribution to pre-budget levels and defy Brussels to act. Better still Mr Cameron could give the British a chance to voice an opinion by granting a long overdue referendum.

Before the election Mr Cameron promised to put the legislation for a EU referendum to Parliament if there was a petition backed by a million or more electors. The petition now exists and people can sign it via the internet. MrCameron may have trouble honouring his pledge now he is partnering the Euro-fanatical Lib Dems but a demand by a million voters for the right to decide on Europe would be impossible to ignore.

The present Government has had to make tough decisions which will hurt ordinary families already struggling to keep afloat. It is completely unacceptable to further burden these individuals with taxes to fund what amounts to nothing more than a broken dream.

*** Jon GAUNT on EU Referendum Campaign

*** Jon GAUNT on EU Referendum Campaign

Hi,

Good to see Jon Gaunt upholding the principles of the basic human right of self determination!

Let us hope he keeps this issue clearly at the forefront of his broadcasts.

This is NOT a party political issue it is a matter of integrity on the part of politicians of all parties and their lack of honour in making promises and reneging on them.

This is an issue of basic human rights and a foundation plank of the UN Charter enshrining The Right of Self Determination as one of the core human rights.

No one under 53 in Britain has ever been granted that core right and those over 53 were deliberately lied to as the politicians and their advisers believed the people would vote NO if they were told the truth.

QUOTE Edward Heath in The Houser of Commons after he admitted he deliberately lied to dupe the people on David Frost's interview.

Thank you to Mr. Gaunt for acting as a Patriot and setting an example our Politicians should follow.

Jon Gaunt set for political campaign comeback?

After being off the air following the sudden closure of SunTalk in July, shock jock Jon Gaunt is hinting on his Facebook page that he may be set for a return by entering politics as a campaigner.

Friends who follow "Gaunty" on Facebook note that he has been posting from Brussels, where he was making a video about the EU, and is linking to material on the European Referendum Campaign website.

The ERC objective is to gain as many referendums on the EU Lisbon Treaty in as many EU member states as possible.

Asked if he is entering politics, Gaunt posts: "Watch this space."

*+** Hazel Leads The Day at THE PETITION

*+** Hazel Leads The Day at THE PETITION

Hi,

The Petition Campaign for an EU Referendum is proving hugely successful and providing The Peoples' Petition to support and assist the EU Referendum Campaign which is acting in a complimentary capacity - though we do expect efforts from the dog in the manger brigade who are not true Patriots but will try to drive a wedge between the various genuine campaigns for their personal gain.

You will find it easy to spot the true patriots as they will be only too happy to put their shoulder to any wheell of co-operation for these United Kingdoms leaving their childish rivalries and self interest politically behind them.

Already these two Campaigns are running well together - though from time to time the odd ego will slip out of the box and make a fool of itself of that you can be sure when you have INDEPENDENT campaigners from any and no political Party and every wing and walk of life in our society.

Nikki Sinclaire MEP as the driving force that launched The Peoples' Petition for an EU Referendum is now ably assisted by her team and Mike Nattrass MEP who is also doing sterling work. Whilst Paul Nuttall MEP is doing all he can to promote the success of the Alliance by lending his weight to James Pryor and his team at the EU Referendum campaign.

I gather The Petition for an EU Referendum has now topped 20,000 signatures and is 1/5th. of the way to its initial target of 100,000 signatures - which are flooding in from all corners of these United Kingdoms together with donations from The People backing The Petition and its aims.

The funding is really important as the aim is to use every penny7 piece donated to advance The Petition itself - already there are well advanced plans for a magasine to promote The Petition and the co-operation with the EU Referendum campaign and James Pryor's group with their direct action campaign to make Politicians and business ever more aware and more responsive.

Today Nikki Sinclaire MEP, in the belief that Britain before Brussels is important did not go to waste time in The EU Parliament enjoying the luxury and benefits of her expense account but did some worthwhile work and drove to North wales to be with an incredible lady and to thank Hazel for her achievements so far.

Let us let Nikki Sinclaire tell it in her own words:

A true inspiration

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Hazel from North Wales who has collected over 500 signatures for the 100,000 petition ‘Campaign for a Referendum’ on the UK’s membership of the EU. Hazel has never been a member of a political party and only found out about the campaign when a friend showed her the leaflet. She felt so strongly about the cause, she immediately went out and completed the first form and then contacted my office for more forms.
Hazel recently lost her husband who she cites as her inspiration. Shortly before his death she found him crying, she asked him why. He replied that he was upset about his country and the mess the politicians have made of it. Hazel told me this campaign was way overdue and the British people deserved a say on how they were governed. She goes out two/three times a day and has vowed to continue.
My mum, despite a recent hip operation and a problematic recovery has collected over 300 signatures. We get many calls to the office and receive lots of completed forms on a daily basis. I am overwhelmed at the level of support and the dedication of these people who truly are a inspiration to our cause.
END OF QUOTE
The really pleasing part of this whole effort is:
Firstly just how well received it is 'on the doorstep'.
Secondly how rapidly & willingly the two campaigns are working together.
Thirdly the fact that The Petition is getting completed sheets of signatures from all over Britain - many downloaded from this site and their own.
Fourthly just how widespread the response is, as it was initially feared it would take a while to spread beyond The West Midlands where it was launched.
ANY HELP any contribution and any support for the two campaigns is very welcome - this is a totally cross Part initiative and is NOT about childish egos it is about two organisations acting together in their own particular ways out of Patriotism and a belief in the Democratic Rights of The British Peoples.
Handing Self Determination to The British People.

Nikki SINCLAIRE & Mike NATTRASS, James Pryor & Bridget Rowe @ EDP MEETING for The PETITION!

& A STRANGE STORY OF BETRAYAL of UKIP by THEIR LEADERSHIP!!

Hi,

The Keynote Guests at The English Democrats' AGM were on The Saturday John Gaunt of radio celeb status, an avowed and OUT EUrosceptic and James Pryor and Bridget Rowe were there to meet and greet old friends and new in promoting their EU Referendum Campaign - complimentary, as you can see if you CLICK HERE to the Key Note speakers on The Sunday who were Nikki Sinclaire & Mike Nattrass promoting THE Petition Campaign for A Referendum.

Here is Sinclaire's blog entry just now:

Speaking at the English Democrats

I along with fellow West Midlands MEP, Mike Nattrass was pleased to have the opportunity to speak at the English Democrat AGM in Nottingham today having had a very successful business breakfast meeting with their leadership team.
We spoke individually and then took questions about the European Union, being an MEP, and the Campaign for a Referendum. It was an enjoyable and interesting experience exchanging views and developing an understanding of each other’s perspective.
It is these cross party initiative that are so important if we are going to win the day.

I look forward to further dialogue.
Ps.  I was quite surprised to learn during our breakfast meeting the overtures made by Malcolm Pearson towards an electoral pact during the general election.
Pearson supported by Steve Crowther and Peter Reeeve met with the English Democrat leadership, with the blessing of Nigel Farage
Constituencies where UKIP would not stand were agreed however, as with so much else Pearson undertakes, he reneged on this undertaking costing UKIP considerable support in the areas that they had agreed.

***Paul NUTTALL MEP Joins The EU REFERENDUM CAMPAIGN TEAM

***Paul NUTTALL MEP Joins The EU REFERENDUM CAMPAIGN TEAM

The Referendum Campaign

Monday 20 September, 2010 : Blog
Hi,
Paul Nuttall MEP has joined the EU Referendum Campaign and has agreed to join the advisory team and act as one of the spokesmen in the EU's pretend Parliament for the EURC.
It will be a novel experience for Paul to be speaking in The EU about something that will actively help to bring Democracy to these United Kingdoms actively Campaigning for a Referendum and the fundamental Human Right of Self Determination - whether YOU want to leave or to stay in The EU the only way it can be honestly achieved is to have a Referendum on whether we stay or we go.
Paul is an active supporter of leaving the EU and now at last he can put his campaigning skills and conviction to meaningful use in The EU so called Parliament. Paul has been looking for a campaign to get stuck into for over a year, since he was first elected as an MEP by UKIP voters wanting to leave The EU.

The EU Referendum Campaign welcome Paul Nuttall as an Independent minded MEP prepared for the long hard road ahead using the pent up energy he brought to the Resistance Struggle over a year ago, that won him the seat as an MEP.
peterstreetpaul
The idea of the campaign is to bring people together, regardless of their political affiliations, in an effort to press the government for an in or out referendum on our membership of the European Union. It will hopefully act as an ‘umbrella’ organisation to bring many of the anti-EU pressure groups together behind the cause for a referendum.

Last week I was asked whether I would be willing to get involved with a new campaign for a referendum on our membership of the European Union. Once I had a meeting with those involved, I was confident that not only would it be the right thing to do, but also that this campaign could become a major force in the near future. I therefore signed up straight away.

As nobody of my own generation has ever had the opportunity to say whether we want to remain members of the EU, I personally don’t think that a referendum is too much to ask. Moreover, as the most recent opinion poll has shown, the majority of the public want the UK to leave the EU, thus proving that the people are going in a completely different direction to the political establishment on this issue. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that the political elite do not want the people to have a vote on our EU membership because they would not like the result.

I am so enthused by this campaign that I have agreed to sit on the Advisory Council alongside Conservative MEP Dan Hannan, John Mills from the Labour Safeguards Campaign and Brian Denny from the trade unions. I am also pleased that Peter Street, who has been a big supporter of UKIP over the years and with who I met last week, is also involved in the campaign.

If anyone is interested in joining the campaign and signing the pledge, alongside the thousands who already have done, then please log on to www.eureferendumcampaign.com and let’s start putting pressure on the establishment to give us the referendum that we rightly deserve and they originally promised.

***EU Referendum - HUGE BREAKTHROUGH with EU Propaganda Budget FISKING!

Following in detail from Dr. Richard North's posting CLICK HERE

The EU Referendum Campaign - fisked

Posted by euromove on 17/09/10
The EU Referendum Campaign has called for a referendum on British membership of the EU.

Here is The EU Referendum Campaign statement about EU membership in Blue,
**fisked in red by The EUmovement a part of The EU propaganda machine**
>>in turn fisked by me in black  - my blog so I get the last word 'cos life's not fair!<<

01.
Can we really afford to send £45 million a day to Brussels?
>>Now stands at £48M or £2M per hour 24/7 CLICK HERE <<
** this is the gross figure not the net figure, which implies that the referendum campaign wants to shut down the things that EU funds pay for in Britain, such as regional spending, support for Britain’s small farmers, research and development, etc **
>>ALL of which we could pay for 3 times over with the money taken from us by The EU.
Also we would not have to match fund huge numbers of projects for The EU which were we not in The EU we would not wish upon ourselves.
The £48M is only the direct cost consideration as a daily membership due or tax payable for membership!<<

Britain is Broke….That’s what the government told us…Isn’t that why our public services are being cut, our taxes are being increased and our pensions are crashing?
>>We are worse than broke we are massively and unresovably broke £17,520,000,000 saved annually by leaving The EU would pay down that borrowing and fund the annual interest rate over a period of time.
By the way I am quoting the summer 2010 Government Pink Book CLICK HERE

02.
A torrent of EU laws are transforming our economy and public sector and there is nothing we can do about it.
** the EU agrees only around 490 laws a year, whereas Westminster produces around 3,500 annually – which one is the torrent? **  >>The EU is VERY clearly the torrent as there is no comparisson between the bulldozers of legislation of The EU.
This is an utterly dishonest & very typical type of EU propaganda.
Absurdum makes my point:
1 EU Law may well state - The Police Forces of all member States will fall under the control of EUroPol and its laws.
1. Westminster Law may state that Sunday Trading Hours are to be extended by one hour.

On investigation during the Irish Referendum scam showed that in the preceding 3 years over 80% of ALL law enacted in The irish Parliament was a product of rubber stamping EU diktat..

Some torrent some trickle!<<

EU laws are imposed without us, or our MPs, having any say whatsoever.
** our MEPs have a say, as do our ministers, who are accountable to our MPs, and both MPs and MEPs are elected by the people **
>>MEPs are not elected they are placed from lists - I have 5! Representing 2 parties one localised joke and a cult! None represent any British values I recognise!
We have 8% representation in the centralised committee dictatorship of The EU and that 8% is further fractured between 6 parties and without exception they are bought and paid for by The EU with absolutely no meaningfull say over anything of significance.<<

Whether it’s the imposition of directives forcing us to privatise and break up our railway system, the Royal Mail and other key public services,
** there are no directives forcing privatisation – in France, both SNCF and La Poste remain in public ownership – the decision to privatise is national, not European **
>>The EU regulations specifically enforced the separation of rail and rolling stock during Thatcher's era and she knew so little about The EU that it passed her by and it was not until AFTER they were in Government she and Norman Tebbit woke up!
The Royal Mail was forced under EU regulation to separate many of its functions and open up to competition in service supply - the new competitors ONLY took on the profitable parts and made no bids for the loss making parts leading to the inevitable decline of the residual Post Office and collapse of rural services.
Please don't quote the dishonourable who enter agreements and then 'renege' you note we use a French word for such deceit.<<

new laws relating to the City of London
** do you not think that the financial markets need some new rules – has everything really gone perfectly recently? **
>>Sadly the influence of the economically illiterate Gordon Brown and the criminally self serving Tony Blair and the rest of the neo Communists working to a Common purpose hand in glove with the corrupt EU permitted denigration of our fiduciary care rules and a requirement to both find some £45M a day from tax revenue and a methodology that surrendered to the alien, corrupt and unaccountable practices of the malign central Government in Brussels.
That the size of the bribes on offer to little men were eye watering and the fact that with the rot of the likes of The Commuinist Barbara Castle as MEP taking Jack Straw on as her protege and John Presscott as her pupil in the EEC as an MEP laid the rot is indisputable.
There is every reason that had we been free of the EU we could have moved with greater allacrity and freedom of movement and avoided the ramifications of the introduction of The EUro which led directly to fraud in Iraq and eventually an utterly corrupt and unlawfull war!<<

and small businesses, the voters of Britain should ultimately decide what policies they want - and do not want - through their elected representatives in parliament.  *
* our elected representatives in parliament do decide, that’s what the European Parliament is for **
>>No that is an outright lie as debate is forbidden in The EU pretend Parliament.
An MEP books a speech of 90seconds and may well be unable, with 736 alien MEPs with entirely different agendas to gain a second slot for a week.
It is an obscene farce to pretend this is a representative democracy of elected representatives - Even Lord Haw Haw Mandelson?) when a Commissioner stated this was a model for a post democratic system of governance whilst Emperor barroso in a key note speech defined The EU as an Empire by consensus.
Consensus of whom one may well ask as a minority believe in the EU and trust it based upon its own polls!<<

Once EU laws are passed into law, they cannot be reversed.  *
* yes they can.  A proposal from the Commission and majority in the Council and the EP can change any EU directive **
>>So clearly it is not democratic - change can only be effected by unelected fat cats who have only the system's interests at heart NOT the people or the future.<<

This is not democracy.
** Would it be democratic if one single member state could force the other 26 do something they did not want to do? **
>>So it is by the EU's own admission not democratic it is intimidation by the mass upon the minority. A crass system of no merit or gain. When the majority of people wish to move out of an area it is unfortunate, when they are forced to remain it is a prison and when for the political expediency of a minority force/threat is used to contain them and £2.4Billion a year is spent to re-educate them via a propaganda budget it is clearly a Gulag.<<

Communication strategy

The Communication strategy portfolio in the first Barroso Commission existed between 2004 and 2010 combined with Institutional Relations. Under the second Barroso Commission this was be dropped as it had no powers and was open to allegations of propaganda.

03.
Due to the crisis the Euro is now facing, the Brussels elite is demanding total control over the tax and spend policies of its member countries.
** the level of tax and spending is a matter for each member state to decide for itself – expenditure levels vary from 41%  (Bulgaria) to 59% (Denmark) – there is no European control of this **
>>Another item of corrupt EU propaganda - a good trick answering a question that was not asked!
EU Referendum Campaign stated
Due to the crisis the Euro is now facing, the Brussels elite is demanding total control over the tax and spend policies of its member countries.  which of course is true - yet the EU propaganda response was to answer what IS happening hence the need to add gravitas by the addition of links to irrelevant sites and figures!
Let us remind The EU apparatchiks of EU Movement that vat is a centralised tax on ALL transactions of 20% - thus a 20% tax on spending made from an already taxed income! Just as we are further taxed by The EU under its utterly dishonest Green taxes and Carbon Taxes which are all obligatory as members of The EU.
So the EU taxes us on unscientific fairy stories!
Clearly the lunatics are running the asylum - now clearly a Gulag where The Central Committee even sets education criteria and yet can nor even account for the money its steals from us!<<
The unelected European Commission
** the president of the European Commission is elected by the European Parliament, and the other members of the Commission are confirmed in office by the EP **
>>Oh so it isn't remotely a democracy - we do not elect our MEPs - they are batch appointed from lists on some mythical con of PR. We do not elect our Commissioners they are Buggins turn failures from domestic politics - we do not have a representative Council as the sole requirement of The EU for people is to ensure the Supra National Empire functions by providing the funding!<<
is demanding the right to vet national budgets before elected parliaments are even allowed to see and debate them.
** no, it proposes that, given that the budgetary decisions that each EU member state takes have an impact on all the others, there should be analysis of those impacts as part of the budgetary process **

It also wants to the right to tax us individually: that is to say an EU level of tax we must all pay, additional to the money we already hand over to our government and local councils.
** the idea is that the money currently contributed to the EU budget by national governments be replaced by a European tax – it would make the level of EU expenditure more visible to the citizen and enable national governments to reduce the amount of tax they themselves raise.  In order to be implemented, it would need the unanimous agreement of every member state.  By the way, this idea that each level of government should be responsible for raising its own revenue is featured in The Plan, the book by Douglas Carswell and Daniel Hannan. **

04.
What is the point of a meaningless referendum on Electoral Reform next May that will cost us £80 million and achieve nothing.  ** the referendum might change the voting system to Westminster  -that is surely not meaningless **

Why even consider changing the way we vote for our politicians when 75% of our laws are made in Brussels
** only about 10 per cent of laws originate in the EU **
>>Balderdash on both counts as purely working by numbers is as shown above a fase and dishonest way of covering the fact that of all primary legislation in excess of 80% is by imposition by The EU and as shown by the detailed check in Ireland and the statement of The German Constitutional Courts.

If only The EU would check its own propaganda as Hans Pottering stated in response to the Czech Prime Minister The EU makes over 75% of the laws in all of EUrope.
Further do remember that the balance 20% must be compliant with EU law and ro quote Section II Part II ECA:
'It shall be the duty and responsibility of The Minister concerned to enact into law all laws to be compliant with The EU whether by Statutary Instrument or by Order In Councel'
Thus clearly The EU is by no meaningfull definition of the word a democracy and in any logical consideration Westminster is no longer responsible and thus MPs are drawing both their wages and their expenses fraudullently as they have no meaningfull job to acquit nor duty to fulfill - They are no more than super annuated social workers with absolutely no authority and no say over anything whatsoeve save voting to increase their wages and expenses which they do with great alacrity and even manage to keep a straight face for such a bent action!
However MEPs are responsible for the theft of tax payers' money on an industrialised basis.<<

and our MPs have no powers to influence those laws
** they can hold to account British government ministers for the way they vote in the Council of Ministers **
>>Woopy doo - are they allowed to price the portions of jelly and icecream for the annual House of Commons Christmas party?<<
The real referendum has to be whether we want to be in or out of the European Union.
**
That must have surprised the EU propaganda machine as they make no comment but probably because they know that like Ireland they can rig the vote or like France & The Netherlands just ignore the wishes of the people - or at the end of the day rename the same document and pass it themselves as they did with the New Constitution Lisbon Treaty.
The EU is utterly and unarguably corrupt, profligate and irresponsible and likely to be the cause of more deaths in Europe during the next 50 years in its wars of disassociation and as famine stalks the planes of EUrope followed by plague than in every European war in history to date.<<

It’s a sad fact that Britain is sleepwalking into the European Super-State
** how can it be a super-state when its budget is only 1 per cent of GDP, its central administration has fewer employees than most city councils and it has no army **
>>Utterly dishonest Aesopian drivel.
The EU employs more apparatchiks than there are in The Chinese Army - Clearly 80%+ of all law is implemented by the EU then 80%+ of the enforcement is a result and thus we can be assured that the majority of work done by Local Government and the Civil service in general and most of police work is in carrying out enforcement of EU law.
To lie and pretend that the armies of bureaucrats doing EU work and funded by a further EU tax on citizens is in some way NOT in the employ of The EU is disingenuous to the level of obscenity!
The propaganda Minister for the EU alone has  staffed offices in every university campus, 6th. form college, public library, County, City & Town Hall and of course those idiotic EU Regional Assemblies - Well over 500 Offices in Britain alone dispensing paper, leaflets, films, videos and staff for indoctrination with office space that probably runs to a square mile!
Then there are 18,000 Common Purpose graduates ALL selected and further propagandised to sell the central scam.<<

and Britain must wake up to the nightmares hiding under the sheets of Brussels. EU laws and directives made without our knowledge or consent,
** the proposals are published by the European Commission, and become law with the consent of the Council (national governments) and the European Parliament (elected MEPs) – perhaps the newspapers should base permanent correspondents in Brussels rather than shutting down their offices there **
>>So it is a centralised undemocratic committee dictatorship with an identical structure to The USSR - even its profligacy as the peasants starve the apparatchiks drive by in their fleets of Zills on reserved highway.
You may recal John Presscott sought to impliment that in Britain and Jack Straw faced no charge when his car was stopped doing in excess of 120mph. A privileged elite above the law.
Please do not deny the facts and take as your example in consideration how do MEPs get from Basle airport to The Tower of Babel in Strasbourg - it couldn't possibly be in a fleet of free cars could it - as with the special political elite trains provided for the self styled scum of EUrope to travel spared association with the hoy poloy!<<

behind locked doors
** the Lisbon Treaty requires that the  Council of Ministers should meet and vote on legislation in public **
>>However in reality they never do and due to the bable of languages without ready translation for that public that is of course merely a form of words with no democratic meaning.<<

or the most complicated clauses and sub-clauses imaginable.
** legally watertight documents have to be written in a particular way – this is true in Westminster too – but simplified explanations are also published **
>>The difference being that as ALL of the EU legislation is drawn up by the ENARCS the tortollogy of the linguistics is undefinable though frequently seemingly precise leaving suitable loop holes for the authors.
Be minded that due to the utter incompetence of the last Government in Britain and the inability of many in The House of Lords as a scrutinising and amending function to acquit their duty much of the legislation from 1997 to 2010 is indecipherable gibberish thaty is so open to interpretation that we now even have an EU styled Supreme Court to act as a an EU style Star Chamber making law on the hoof as does the EU with its farcical Courts.
Be minded in TRYING to sell the EU to a British audience that in Britain our laws are founded on the laws of natural Justice not the Justinian laws of repression facing the threat of Barbarians at the gates of Rome with or withou the farce of an overlay of Code Napoleon.

Be also minded that in these United Kingdoms we have Civil Servants to carry out their Civil function as our Servants - whereas The EU has Administrators, apparatchiks and bureaucrats.

Minded of this remember that in these United Kingdoms we elect in the time honoured and proven manner of ONE representative per constituency by FPTP whether that is a few hundred houses on a Town Council or a Parliamentary Constituency of an MP, an individual who is duty bound to represent his constituents ALL his constituents with no one to fob them off to and thus a direct link. MEPs have no direct link and are placed from a list garnering not a single vote in their own name and thus beholden to the state and the party NOT the elector.

Thus it is clear there is a fundamental difference between these United Kingdoms with our ancient tradition of laws based on debate on the Village Mound or to parlez though I don't know the Middle English spelling that came eventually through parlez mound to Parliament - the law in Britain has never been by imposition whereas understanding of democracy in continental Europe is tenuous in the extreme with not a single constitution predating 1946!

Is it any wonder that a Communist student rebel in Salazar's dictatorship has so little grasp of justice or democracy as is shown by Barroso - or that every MEP in Spain represents all of Spain with no responsibility having been a product of Franco's military dictatorship and the product of Guernica?
